Description

This is a 2014 Huber Granada Truetone with an HR30 Tone Ring and Truetone Shell. The banjo is all original except it has upgraded amber tuner buttons and a Speed Neck. This means the finish on the back of the neck has been sanded off to play faster. This banjo is gorgeous and is a cannon and the amber buttons and speed neck are an upgrade for appearance and function.

This has a 3 ply hard rock maple Truetone Shell with a Curly Maple neck and Curly Maple Resonator. The fretboard is rosewood with a Flying Eagle inlay pattern. The banjo is stunning with all original gold plated and engraved hardware. This includes an HR30 Tone Ring and a Huber One piece flange made by Prucha Banjos. The hardware has Granada style engraving and the Tailpiece is a Clam Shell Gold Plated Tailpiece.

This banjo is a phenomenal instrument for a player to begin with. The Huber banjos capture so much of the original Pre War Gibson Tone. This banjo takes it a step further because the Speed Neck does help improve fast fretting. This also includes a Superior Hardshell Case.

Condition

This banjo is in absolutely fantastic condition. The gold has been disassembled and cleaned at our shop and looks fantastic. The resonator finish was already clean on the way in and has been waxed to a shine.

The frets do have some wear on the first several frets but this wear does not effect function at all. This banjo has no buzzing issues or playing problems. There are spikes at frets 7 and 9. This banjo is in great shape with a Superior Case that is in good shape as well.

Set Up

This is set up with a Huber frosted head which is set to 90. The bridge is a Snuffy Smith Bridge and this has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. This is a hoss and this has been set up to maximize tone and playability. This banjo is a gem and a cannon and is ready to go.
