2014 Stelling Red Fox 5 string Banjo

This is a very clean and all original 2014 Stelling Red Fox Banjo with a Stelling Original Hardshell Case.  This banjo has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

Stelling Banjos are regarded as many to be the finest banjos ever built both for function and looks.  This is the best selling model for Stelling and is a beautiful banjo that is a truly professional instrument.

This has a Tony Pass Lost Timbre shell with a curly maple neck and resonator.  The fretboard is ebony with the Red Fox Maple Leaf inlay pattern.  The hardware is nickel which includes a Stelling Bowtie One Piece Flange and a Stelling No Hole Tone Ring.  The banjo is all original and also includes a Stelling Tailpiece with engraved logo.  This also has the original Stelling Head, Bridge and Case.

This is one of the best values for under $3000 that exists.  This is a beautiful and all original and sounds wonderful.

Condition

This has been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.  We disassembled the banjo and buffed the metal to a nice glow.  The wood and finish look fantastic and have been waxed to a shine as well.  The neck and fretboard are clean and the fretboard is oiled.  There is a minor amount of wear on the first few frets but it is minor.  There are spikes in the 7th-10th frets. This is absolutely beautiful with a clean original case.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.  This has the original Stelling Head which is set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is also original and is set with correct intonation.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set nicely.  This also is fully adjustable.

What a great banjo!!  This is absolutely beautiful in every way.
