This is a beautiful 2016 Deering Deluxe that is all original with the original case, hang tag and warranty card. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This is a popular model from Deering Banjos and is definitely a high quality instrument that was made in America.

This has a thick maple shell. The neck and resonator are walnut which is definitely a nice touch. This has a very unique and haunting tone. The fretboard is rosewood and this has some really nice inlay work. The headstock also is inlaid which includes the Deering logo. This is all original with a zinc flange and the Deering 06 Bell Bronze Tone Ring. The tailpiece is engraved Deering and this also has the original Deering head and bridge. On top of this the banjo comes with a clean original Deering case and the hang tag and warranty card. The warranty card has not been filled out.

This banjo is absolutely gorgeous and new these cost $3229. This banjo is basically new and you can buy this from us for $2229 shipped!!! The Deering Deluxe is absolutely a professional quality banjo with a very serious tone and great volume. Someone is going to be happy with this one!!

Condition

We professionally clean every banjo that comes through the shop. This has been disassembled and the metal has been buffed with a high powered buffing wheel. The hardware looks new! The wood has been waxed and has a really nice shine. We also oil the fretboard.

This was clean to begin with so this now really does look like a new banjo. The frets show no wear and this never had spikes or a 5th string capo. That is a sign that it also wasn’t played heavily. The banjo is gorgeous and the case and all the paperwork is also in good shape.

Set Up

We also professionally set up every Banjo that comes through our shop. This has the original Deering head because it was so clean we put it back on. The Deering logo is under the tailpiece. In addition the head is set to 90 on a drum dial.

This also has the original Deering 5/8 bridge which is set with correct intonation. We put new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set nicely. This plays like butter while still producing some great volume. This is also fully adjustable.

It would be crazy to buy a New Deering Deluxe instead of this. The banjo is not only a high quality banjo we have got this looking, sounding and playing like heaven!!!
