Greg Deering personally designed the inlays with an Art Nouveau style in mind. Reminiscent of the Victorian Era, this high grade maple banjo stands out as a top of the line professional instrument, at home on the concert stages throughout the world. It is played by world renowned banjoists like Bela Fleck, 2007 IBMA Banjo Player of the Year – Tony Trischka, Joe Bonsal of the Oak Ridge Boys, and Ned Luberecki.

From Bluegrass to Country, Rock to Classical, this is one of the ultimate banjos made today. Crafted with the precision of every Tenbrooks banjo out of highly figured violin grade maple for the ultimate tonal power and sparkle. This Banjo is all original and in great shape. The Kruger Ring makes a huge difference which this has. This also has an original Deering Hardshell Case.

Condition

This banjo was very well taken care of and is in really good shape. There is a 3/4 inch surface button scratch on the back of the resonator but the rest of the neck and resonator finish is gorgeous. The frets and fretboard are basically perfect and this has spikes at frets 7 and 9. All of the hardware is in great shape as well. This banjo is clean and all original. The case is in good shape but has a replacement handle that isn’t that great. I would suggest getting a new handle for the case but other then that the case is in great.

Set Up

This is set up with the Original Deering Frosted Head. The bridge is also the original Deering Bridge. The banjo is strung with Huber Truetone strings and this really cracks. The banjo is in great shape, all original with Kruger ring and is set up and ready to go!!
