Description

This is a mahogany banjo with satin nickel hardware. The neck is also mahogany with a rosewood fretboard. This has a Flying Eagle inlay pattern which looks fantastic. There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. The tailpiece is a Presto Tailpiece and the armrest is a one piece armrest. Steve Huber has devoted his life to making the best reproductions of the Pre War Gibson Banjos and this is a fantastic example. This is all original and very clean.

Condition

The banjo is really in great shape. It is also less than 1 year old. The finish looks incredible and the hardware is also very clean. The neck and fretboard are also both very clean. The frets look great all the way down the fretboard. There are spikes at the 7th, 8th, 10th and 12th frets. This is truly a clean nearly new banjo. The Superior hardshell case is also very clean.

Set Up

This has been set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. The banjo has comfortable action with a lot of tone!! This is really a fantastic sounding banjo. This has the classic style 3 sound. This has a new Huber head and new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. The bridge is a Grover bridge. The head is set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around. This also has proper intonation.
