2018 Yates RB75 5 string Banjo

This is a nearly new Yates RB75 that is all original with a deluxe case. This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This banjo was purchased new by a collector that almost never played it. This is essentially a new Yates banjo and has all of the important parts.

This is a mahogany banjo with a 3 ply hard rock maple shell and nickel hardware. The neck is mahogany with a rosewood fretboard. The fretboard has a Flying Eagle inlay pattern. There is white binding on each side of the neck and fretboard. This has a one piece flange, one piece armrest and a Presto tailpiece. All of the hardware has been aged to give this a vintage look!!!

This also has a Yates Pre War Tone Ring which makes a big difference. This is a fantastic pre war style ring. This also has the aged rim and resonator which add to the vintage sound. This is a fantastic example of a Pre War style banjo that also looks the part. Includes TKL hardshell case.

Condition

This is basically a new banjo. This does have the aging in the materials but other than that this is near mint. The frets are basically perfect. This is a fantastic opportunity to get a Yates banjo that is basically brand new at a discounted price!! The TKL case is also clean.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. This has a Remo Frosted head which has been set to 90 on a drum dial. The bridge is a Yates bridge with an ebony cap. The string height feels great and is fully adjustable and this has correct intonation as well. This is a clean and super cool banjo that has been set up to sound and play like a dream!!!!
