2019 Huber VRB75 5 string Banjo Truetone Hearts and Flowers

This is a nearly new Huber VRB75 that has a custom Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

Steve Huber is believed by many to have mastered production of the authentic Pre War tone in a Banjo. His Banjos are absolutely top of the line and this happens to have custom inlay and is still under the manufacturer’s warranty.

This has a 3 ply hard rock maple Truetone Shell. This is a design that only Huber uses on their banjos and is significant in the tone. The tone ring is an HR30 tone ring which is probably the best ring for creating Pre War tone. The Truetone banjos are highly sought after and this is one of them.

The neck and resonator are mahogany with a gloss finish. The fretboard is rosewood and this has a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern. There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. The hardware is all original and is satin nickel and was made by Prucha. The tailpiece is a presto. This has a one piece Pre War Style Flange. Finally this comes with the original Superior hardshell case.

This is a smoking hot banjo that is oozing with tone and is very clean. This is the banjo to get for the player that wants authentic Pre War Tone.

Condition

Since this is so new it is already clean. The hardware looks fantastic and the wood still shines. The fretboard and neck are clean and the frets are super clean, basically mint. There are spikes at the 7th and 9th frets. This is a clean banjo all over and the case is also in great shape.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia. This has an original Huber Frosted head by Remo which is set to 90 on a drum dial. The bridge is a Snuffy Smith and is set with correct intonation. We have new Huber Bridges if you would prefer that. The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set nicely. This is also fully adjustable with a truss rod and 2 coordinator rods. Wow what a cool Banjo!!!
