2019 Yates Carolina 5 string Banjo

This is a nearly new 2019 Yates Carolina 5 string Banjo.  These cost $6700 new.  This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This is a gorgeous Yates Carolina that is not even 1 year old.  Yates makes Pre War style banjos and relics them to give them the aged look.

This has a curly maple resonator with a 3 ply hard rock maple shell.  The hardware is nickel.  This has a curly maple neck with a rosewood fretboard.  The fretboard has some really nice custom inlay.  There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.  The armrest is a one piece armrest and the tailpiece is a Presto Tailpiece.  This has a Yates V33 nickel plated tone ring.  The rim and resonator are thermal aged which helps get the old look and tone.  This banjo is endorsed by Donnie Little.

Condition

All of Yates Banjos are relicd to give the vintage look so this has been relicd.  However the actual banjo is not even a year old and has had almost no play time.  Even the frets show almost no wear.  This is in gorgeous condition and has been well taken care of for the small amount of time this banjo has existed.

Set Up

This has been set up here at the shop.  This has nice string height (action) and this plays great with great volume.  The banjo has correct intonation.  This has a Remo Frosted head which has been set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around the head.  This is a super cool banjo with a lot of vibe that sounds incredible with a professional set up.
