This is a nearly new Gold Tone OB250+ Banjo with an upgraded Tony Pass shell and original case. This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

This is a really good opportunity to get a basically new top of the line Gold Tone Banjo.

The OB250+ is an OB250 that includes the top of the line JLS tone ring. This tone ring is regarded as one of the best tone rings available and it sounds fantastic. This particular banjo also has an upgraded Tony Pass shell which is a major improvement. One of my customers traded this in and he bought this in January of this year so it is basically new.

The banjo has a curly maple resonator and a maple neck. The hardware is chrome plated and looks fantastic. This has an ebony fretboard with a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern. The neck and resonator each have wood binding which is a very nice touch. The armrest is engraved with Gold Tone and the tailpiece is a straightline tailpiece. This has every premium feature and is an exceptional banjo, especially for this price. This also includes an original Gold Tone hardshell case.

Condition

This is basically new and unplayed. The banjo is clean all over. The frets only have a hint of wear on the first few frets and the rest are perfect. There are spikes at the 7th, 9th and 10th frets. The original case is also clean.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta. This has a clean Remo frosted head that is set to 90 on a drum dial. The banjo has correct intonation and the action is set well. This feels great to play and sounds incredible. Plus the banjo is adjustable. This is basically new and is an upgraded model that looks, plays and sounds incredible and has top of the line parts. Thanks!
