Description
Introducing Earth’s lightest professional resonator banjo. The Athena is light and elegant. Its Timber-Tronic tone ring sounds brilliant and reduces the total weight by nearly twenty five percent. While the wood ring is standard, Nechville Pro Bronze and Hybrid tone rings are also possible. The neck width is 1.22″ at the nut, just a hair narrower than most Nechvilles.
THIS BANJO WAS UPGRADED TO THE HYBRID TONE RING. That allows the banjo to remain light but have a bit more pop.
This has a walnut neck and resonator with an ebony fretboard. The fretboard has some very attractive inlay and this not only is a pro grade banjo it looks great. This comes with an axcess hardshell case
Condition
This banjo is in fantastic shape. The wood and finish are clean. The frets and fretboard are clean with minimal fretwear and this has spikes at frets 7 and 9. This is clean with a clean hardshell case.
Set Up
This has a Renaissance head which was put on at the Nechville factory. The head is in nearly perfect shape with just a bit of tarnish on the right hand thumb side. The bridge is a Nechville Bridge and this has new Huber strings.
This is a super cool and light weight banjo that delivers a pro quality experience. This is set up and ready to go.
