This is a 2022 Deering Sierra which is a very popular banjo right now. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This has a maple shell with a maple resonator and neck. The fretboard is ebony with some gorgeous inlay work. The headstock also has inlay along with the Deering logo. This is all original with nickel hardware except for a new 2 piece armrest,and this includes a high quality Deering tone ring. This is absolutely gorgeous and is a professional quality banjo. The Deering Sierra is one of the best values on a banjo being made today and is made right here in America.

This also includes a heavy duty gig bag. This is a fantastic package and is a steal under $2000.

Condition

We professionally clean every banjo that comes through here. This has been disassembled and the metal has been buffed and wood waxed. The resonator neck and fretboard are definitely clean and the frets look new. There are spikes in frets 7 and 9. The only noticeable wear is some scratching on the armrest which is pictured and a surface scratch in the finish of the back of the resonator. This is not only a really clean banjo but the gig bag is also clean. Why spend $3000 on a new Sierra when you can get this for under $2000?!?!?!?!

Set Up

We also professionally set up every banjo that comes through here. This has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90 on a drum dial. The bridge is set with correct intonation. This has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set nicely. This is also fully adjustable.
