Description

This is a top quality professional banjo and I know that the neck was built by Robin Smith. This is a Mastertone style banjo that produces some big sound and this has been set up and is ready for you.

The shell is a maple shell and this has a curly maple neck and resonator, each with white binding. The fretboard is ebony and has a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern. The hardware is nickel and all original including a 20 hole Mastertone style tone ring and a one piece flange. This banjo is a hoss and is made with the spirit of some of the greatest banjos in history. This is in great shape and also includes a Guardian Archtop Case.

Condition

This banjo is in fantastic condition. We polished the metal and waxed the finish and the banjo has a really nice shine. The frets and fretboard are in really good shape and there are spikes at frets 7,9 and 10. This is in great shape with a clean case.

Set Up

This has the original American Made Banjo Company head which is set to 90. The bridge is a Snuffy Smith and this has new Huber Truetone .10’s. This is really cracking right now and has been prepared to deliver maximum performance.
