Bill Sullivan Festival 5 string Banjo

This is a maple banjo with nickel hardware. The neck is also maple with a rosewood fretboard. This has an historic old growth shell which is a $500 upgrade. The tone ring is a Sullivan tone ring. There are dot position markers on the fretboard. The headstock has a nice inlay with Sullivan Festival inlaid as well. The banjo has a 5th string capo installed. There is tortoise shell binding on each side of the resonator. The neck has black binding and a very nice flame in the maple. This is a very attractive banjo.

Condition

This shows some wear on the resonator but not much. There are some light nicks and scratches. The banjo is in good shape but this was used. The neck is straight. The first few frets do show some wear but there are no playing issues. The banjo plays great and sounds great and is a fantastic value.
