CLEAN 1995 Gibson RB250 5 string Banjo 

This is an absolutely gorgeous RB250 that was made right after the Greg Rich era.  This has identical parts to a Rich era banjo and was made by the same people.  Greg Rich simply wasn’t at Gibson anymore.  This banjo is gorgeous and all original and includes an original Gibson Hardshell Case.  All of our banjo sales include Free shipping and a 7 day FULL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE.

Description

This is a mahogany banjo with a 3 ply hard rock maple rim.  The neck is also mahogany with a rosewood fretboard.  The banjo has nickel hardware.  The fretboard has a leaves and bows inlay pattern.  There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.  This has an especially beautiful rosewood peghead overlay.  The headstock is also inlaid with the Gibson logo and a traditional RB250 headstock inlay.  This has a one piece armrest and a Presto Tailpiece.  The banjo is definitely super clean.  This has spikes at the 7th and 9th frets.  The banjo also includes a very clean original Gibson Hardshell Case.

Condition

This was definitely well taken care of and is absolutely gorgeous.  The finish looks fantastic.  There is virtually no wear on the finish.  The original hardware is all glowing. This is truly a very clean instrument.  The neck and fretboard are also clean.  The frets show a minimal amount of wear and only on the first few frets.  This is definitely a special piece and the early to mid 90’s were a great time for Gibson Banjos.  The original hardshell case is also super clean.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up here at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has comfortable action with great tone and volume. The banjo has correct intonation.  This has a new Huber Head which is frosted and new Huber Truetone strings.  The neck is set up properly and this is really a joy to play.  In addition the head has been set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around.
