This is a Stunning and nearly New Tim Davis VT-Maple Granada.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

Tim Davis has really become a serious influence in the world of Banjo.  He is building some true top quality Banjos that are available at a strong price.  This is a beautiful Gold Plated and Engraved Maple Davis that is set up and ready to go!!

This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell with a curly maple neck and resonator.  The fretboard is rosewood with a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern.  There is w/b/w binding on the neck and resonator which looks great.

The hardware is all gold and looks brand new!!!  This has Granada engraving which was done by Greg Rich.  The banjo is all original including a Davis Tone Ring.

If you want a Granada but don’t want to spend $5000-$8000 on it this is screaming your name.  This banjo is true professional quality and is beyond beautiful.

Condition

This was barely touched and is in almost new condition.  The only issue is there is some sort of finish cracking around the 5th string tuner which is pictured.  The previous owner must have tried to put a different 5th string tuner in which effect the finish around the tuner.

The gold looks new and glows.  The finish looks fantastic as well.  Even the frets show no actual wear.  There are spikes at the 7th and 9th frets.  The case is also basically new and that is a Deluxe and STRONG Case which is $200 new.

Set Up

This has also been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has a new Huber Frosted Head which is set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is a Yates.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and this plays great!!!  This banjo is a stunning cannon that plays like butter.
