Deering Classic Goodtime Two 5 string Banjo

This is a pre owned Deering Classic Goodtime banjo.  This has been set up and inspected here and includes a FULL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE!!

The Classic Goodtime banjos were created to meet customer demands. With the more classic fiddle peghead shape (now found on all Deering Goodtime banjos, the rich dark brown stain, planetary tuning pegs and the addition of spikes at 7,9, 10 for alternate tunings, this light weight maple banjo not only meets but exceeds the features customers wanted and needed. The violin-grade maple rim is made of the same wood used on the professional level Deering models and gives the Goodtime banjo a rich, full, round note distinction.

Condition

The banjo is definitely in great shape.  The finish looks great and is clean.  The hardware is also clean and really shines.  The fretboard is clean all the way down.  The first few inches near the nut do show some minor wear but it truly is minor.  The frets are also clean again only with minimal wear on the first few frets.  The banjo has planetary tuners which are also in great shape.  This has spikes at the 7th, 9th and 10th frets.  The head is in good shape and the tailpiece and bridge are also.  We set this up and this is a great playing banjo.  This also sounds fantastic.  This is a great overall clean banjo.  The case does have some wear but it is sturdy and functional.  The inside is very clean.
