This is a curly maple banjo with a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. This is a gorgeous banjo and one of Deering’s most popular models. This has a very sweet tone because of the curly maple that is absolutely angelic. This is all original and has absolutely no playing problems whatsoever and looks great.
This is a clean banjo and was clearly well taken care of. This is not a mint banjo but it is definitely in great shape and has zero problems as far as function and not much wear to speak of. We have this set up with low action and this plays fast and has an excellent tone.
Some of the first few frets have a little bit of denting but it is light and there are no playing issues created by this. The case is in great shape and is secure and clean.
