The Engelhardt basses are the old Kay design that are still being made in America today. This is a prime Blonde example that really looks incredible!!! This bass is all original and is set up with really good feeling and playing action. The strings are nylon and this has that thump that one expects for a Bluegrass bass!!! The tone is also smooth and this would be a great bass for Jazz or Blues on top of a long list of other styles of music.
This is a thumper and is a very nice vintage bass. This has that classic blonde finish that so many people love from the old Kay basses. This has been set up and is fully inspected as well and has ZERO problems.
