This is a super cool Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass.  Made in Mexico.  This has been inspected and set up by the Stingray Man at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

The Geddy Lee Jazz Bass is an exact replica of the tonally singular instrument that Rush’s revered bassist/vocalist has riffed away on in front of millions of devoted fans worldwide and on many a mega-selling album. Lee remains an acclaimed and enormously influential bassist and, with mean, mean stride, his best-selling and elegantly styled signature model makes your tone crackle with life and bristle with the energy, with massive low end, guttural midrange and crystal-clear highs.

This has a black finish with a maple neck with black binding and black blocks.  The bass is all original including 2 J Bass pickups, a volume, a tone and a phase knob.  This is definitely the classic design and includes a hardshell case.

Condition and Set Up

This is really good shape with minimal wear and has been cleaned and set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  The finish has a couple of nicks and small dings.  Overall the finish is in great shape but it’s not perfect.  The neck and frets are in great shape as well.  This bass is overall in good condition.

This has been set up with new Flat Wound Strings and is playing great.  This has some killer tone and it’s incredible this can be bought for under $1000!!!  If you want a great price on a classic bass this is it!!!
