The CB-100 offers the clawhammer player EVERY desirable feature in a moderately-priced instrument that will hold up on those rigorous festival weekends. This banjo has it all; a maple vintage-design neck with scooped rosewood fingerboard, rolled brass rod tone ring, Remo Renaissance head, No Knot tailpiece, planetary-gear tuning machines and a unique Gold Tone-designed dowel stick containing a hidden coordinator rod for quick and easy string action adjustments.

This is an exceptional clawhammer style banjo that is made with quality materials and an even better design. It is amazing this can be purchased for under $1000.

Condition and Set Up

This particular banjo is a blem and there is some light finish cracking on each side of the dowel rod on the inside of the shell. I included a close up of this blem in the pictures. This is absolutely cosmetic and absolutely minor. The banjo is in new condition otherwise.

The banjo has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90. The strings and bridge are also new and the intonation is set and this is a strong player. This is set up and ready to go.
