This is a Custom Banjo made by Frank Neat. This has the absolute best top of the line parts. The neck and resonator are both made by Frank Neat. The tone ring is a Blaylock Bear Tracks tone ring. The tone ring is signed by JD Crowe. The tone ring is exceptional. This has a Tony Pass Lost Timbre 500TS shell.
The banjo is mahogany with nickel hardware. The neck is also mahogany with an ebony fretboard. The fretboard has leaves and bows inlaid. The neck and resonator both have white binding. This is a serious business professional grade banjo with phenomenal parts. This is absolutely the banjo to buy at this price range. Includes a very clean Superior Hardshell case which is clean.
Condition
The banjo is super clean. All of the wood is clean and the finish is also clean. The hardware is glowing. The neck is straight and the fretboard is very clean. There is some light fretwear as you get towards the nut but it isn’t bad at all. The fretwear does not effect the function at all. There are spikes at the 7th and 9th frets. This has been set up and sounds and plays very very well. This banjo is loud and my lord does this have the tone. This is a fantastic instrument made with the best parts. The case is also clean.
