This is a gorgeous Kulesh Tone Ring that was made for Gibson. I’m not sure what year it was made but this does show the serial number. There is a possibility that someone on the banjo hangout would know the year. The Kulesh Ring is regarded as one of the best tone rings ever made. These were used on the Gibson Banjos during the Greg Rich era and for many years after that period.

Condition

The tone ring is in absolutely fantastic condition. This really glows. It is clean and does not have basically any wear. This would be a great tone ring for any banjo. The person with a Gibson banjo that wants an original Gibson tone ring could really benefit from this. This did come out of a Gibson Banjo and does have the Gibson USA stamp on the ring.
