Gibson Clone Banjo “MasterClone”
This is a fantastic Gibson copy banjo made by and unknown builder. The banjo has a 3 ply Hard Rock Maple shell. The resonator and neck are mahogany. This has a rosewood fretboard. The banjo has a gorgeous Wreath inlay pattern. Nickel Hardware. The tone ring is definitely a high quality ring but also is unknown as far as maker. The banjo also includes a hardshell case.
This is a fantastic banjo for somebody that wants a high quality banjo but doesn’t want to spend too much money. This is definitely a professional grade instrument that plays and sounds fantastic. This would be an RB3 style banjo.
Condition
The banjo is in fantastic shape. In fact it almost looks untouched. The resonator is clean and the hardware looks incredible. The neck is straight and the fretboard is in great shape. The banjo has spikes at the 7th-10th frets. The frets themselves look new! The banjo is clean and has been set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. The case is also clean.
