This is an absolute monster banjo. This is Gorgeous 5 string Banjo with a Steve Ryan tone ring. The banjo plays great and sounds incredible. This was set up here at the Banjo Warehouse.

Description

This is a mahogany banjo with nickel hardware. The neck is also mahogany with an ebony fretboard. The fretboard and headstock have an abalone leaf inlaid along with a dogwood tree on the headstock. There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. This has a fiddle headstock. The armrest is a one piece armrest and this has a Price tailpiece. Planetary tuning keys. This has a Steve Ryan Tone Ring. The banjo is gorgeous and includes a clean hardshell case.

Condition

The banjo is truly gorgeous. The finish looks great and is clean all around. The hardware is also clean. It truly glows!! The neck is clean as is the fretboard. There is very little fretwear and only on the first few frets. The banjo has spikes at the 7th and 10th frets. This is absolutely gorgeous and a really good opportunity for a banjo player on a budget. This has all of the tone you would expect out of a banjo twice this price!!!

Set Up

The banjo has been set up professionally here at the Banjo Warehouse. The intonation is set and the action feels fantastic. This can be played fast while still pulling lots of tone and volume. This has a 5 star frosted head. I do not know the bridge maker but this is a nice bridge for sure. This is set up to play fast with great volume.
