Huber Banger 5 string Banjo
This is an exact replica of an RB3 that JD Crowe played for years. JD Crowe called his banjo “The Banger”. This was made by Steve Huber and only 4 exist. This is a mahogany banjo with nickel hardware. The neck is also mahogany and the fretboard is rosewood. The fretboard has leaves and bows. This has a Huber HR30 no hole tone ring. This is because the original Banger had a no hole tone ring. The banjo is all original and is made exactly like the original Banger. This includes a very clean Superior Hardshell Case. These have sold for very high prices in the past because only 4 exist.
Condition
This is in absolutely fantastic condition. The wood looks fantastic. The hardware is all clean as well. The fretboard is clean The frets are basically perfect all the way down the board. The fretboard has spikes in the 7th-9th frets. This is truly a gorgeous instrument. The banjo is set up and this is LOUD. This is also a fantastic player. The Superior Hardshell Case is in fantastic condition as well. This is a rare banjo in fantastic condition that plays and sounds incredible.
