Huber Classic 58 5 string Banjo RARE HUBER BOWTIE

This is a very rare Huber Classic 58 5 string Banjo.  Only four exist.  This is a Huber Bowtie banjo that is gorgeous and reminiscent of some 1950’s Banjos.  This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse.

Description

This has a mahogany neck and resonator with nickel hardware.  The fretboard is rosewood with the classic Bowtie inlay pattern.  The headstock has the Huber logo inlaid with the classic style font instead of the standard Huber font.  This has aged white binding on the side of the neck and resonator to give this the classic look.  The armrest is a one piece armrest and this has a Presto Tailpiece.  Even the tuners are a classic cream tuner.  This is a wonderful banjo with the vibe of the 1950’s and 1960’s Bowtie Banjos that so many people love.  This has an HR30 tone ring and a Huber Truetone shell.  Plus this includes a Superior Hardshell Case.

Condition

The condition is exceptional.  The hardware is clean and it really glows.  The finish is absolutely clean and all was done by Steve Huber.  The fretboard is clean as well.  Even the frets show almost no wear and what is there is minor and only on the first few frets.  The Superior Case is also super clean.

Set Up

This is set up for comfortable playing with great volume and tone.  The mahogany and nickel by the way sound incredible!!  The banjo has proper intonation.  The head is set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around. This has a Huber bridge with ebony cap.  The head is a new Huber Frosted Head and this has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings.
