This is a very nice Walnut Morgan Monroe Banjo with a one piece flange.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This banjo is made with some very nice quality materials and also has a one piece flange.  This has chrome hardware and has all original hardware.  The fretboard is ebony with a gorgeous flower inlay going up the board.  The armrest is engraved and this has a clam shell tailpiece which really looks great.  There is maple binding on each side of the neck and resonator and two maple strips going up the back of the neck and resonator.  The headstock has a rosewood peghead overlay along with more inlay work that is stunning.  This is an absolutely beautiful banjo that also is built to play and sound incredible.  This also includes the original hardshell case.

This banjo is phenomenal for being under $1000 and looks great, plays great and sounds great.

Condition

This is in fantastic condition as well.  All of the wood and finish look great and this is definitely a clean banjo.  The hardware has been professionally cleaned by us and basically looks new.  There is a nice glow and a lot of shine to this banjo.  The neck and fretboard are clean.  The frets show some wear but this does not effect function.  There are no spikes and no 5th string capo.  The original case is also clean.  This is definitely a clean banjo that has been played but professionally clean so it looks it’s best.

Set Up

This also has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has a new Huber frosted head which is set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is unknown but we have set the banjo with correct intonation.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action feels great.  Plus this is fully adjustable.  This is a fantastic banjo that has also been professionally set up and this would please anybody.
