Pre Ernie Ball Music Man Fretless Stingray Bass
This Fretless stingray bass is an all original 1978 Body with a 1980 Fretless neck. The decal is not original and there is finish on the face of the headstock that isn’t original. Everything else on this bass is Pre Ernie Ball. The pickups and electronics are all original 1978 electronics. The preamp is an epoxy covered preamp and all the pots date to 1978. This has an original natural finish that looks great. Fretless Stingray Basses are rare and this is all Pre Ernie Ball Stingray parts. The Body is all original 1978 parts.
Condition
Overall the bass is in great shape. The finish has some light checking and a few nicks. The hardware also shows some minor age. But overall it is in really good shape. The fretboard is in fantastic condition. This is a very nice fretless neck. All of the electronics are clean and everything works. The Ernie Ball case is also in good shape. This is a very good package that is set up and fully functional. The bass is also a very good looking bass.
