This is a brand New Gold Star JD Crowe GF100JD 5 string Banjo with Certificate of Authenticity.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This banjo is a copy of a Gibson RB75 that was played by JD Crowe for years.  This is a stellar banjo that has some fantastic tone and is a phenomenal player as well.  This is all original with the COA and original case.

The banjo has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell.  The neck and resonator are mahogany.  The hardware is nickel.  This has a rosewood fretboard that has a Leaves and Bows inlay pattern.  This is all original with a one piece armrest and a Presto Tailpiece.  The tone ring is an original no hole nickel plated tone ring just like the ring on the original Crowe Banjo.  This banjo has got some incredible tone and attack and will truly “Peel the Paint off the Walls”.  This also includes the Certificate of Authenticity and the original Superior Hardshell Case.

Condition

This is brand new and in mint condition.  This has no spikes but we can install spikes if you would like.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.  This has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is a no name bridge and this has correct intonation.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set well.  This is also fully adjustable.  This banjo plays like butter and produces some major sound.  If you like the Pre War sound but don’t want to break the bank this banjo is for you!
