This is a New In Box Gibson RB 5 string Banjo with a Mocha Brown Finish, Original Case and Original Warranty Paper.  This has been fully inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

This is a really cool opportunity because this is a never used Gibson Banjo that has everything with it.  This was never played and is in mint condition with the original Gibson Box.

This has a curly maple resonator that has a Mocha Brown Finish.  The hardware is nickel.  This has a one piece armrest and a Gibson Presto tailpiece.  This has a curly maple neck with an ebony fretboard with snowflakes.  The headstock has the Gibson logo and some other inlay work.  The face of the headstock is rosewood.  There is black binding on each side of the neck and resonator.  This banjo has a Rolled Brass Tone Ring which some people call a tone hoop.

This was never owned by a player and has been sitting in the mint condition original case for years.  This also has the original Gibson Box and the original Warranty Paperwork.  This is technically a new old stock item so this does not include a factory warranty although the original paper is there.  This is mint and is a true gem to find.  There may never be another opportunity to buy a New in Box Gibson banjo ever again so this is definitely a special opportunity.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has a new Remo Frosted Head that has been set to 90 on a drum dial.  The banjo has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings.  This is set up with nice action and correct intonation.  The banjo is fully adjustable.  This is a rare opportunity to buy a New in Box Gibson Banjo that may never come up again.
