Description

Mitch Meadors is obsessed with Pre War Gibson Banjos and he has done an exceptional job designing some top quality Banjos. In fact this banjo gives the big names in the Banjo Building Community a serious run for their money.

The shell is a Thick FAT BOY shell that by itself is a major factor in the sound. The shell has also been torrefied which takes it over the top. Torrefied wood goes through a process of aging that produces a vintage type tone.

The hardware is nickel and all original. This includes a Mitch .38 Special Tone Ring and a one piece flange. The neck and resonator are mahogany each with white binding. The fretboard is rosewood with a Reno Flying Eagle inlay. This banjo is off the charts cool and every one I have had so far has sold before I could get it online.

This is New.

Set Up

This has been set up with a Remo frosted head that is set to 90. The bridge is a Sosebee. The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the banjo is set up to play loud. This banjo has major volume and would fall into the Peel the Paint off the Walls category.
