This is a gorgeous New Old Stock Morgan Monroe 5 string Banjo with Gold Plating and Engraving. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

Morgan Monroe was the original High End yet Affordable Chinese Banjo Company. This banjo is probably at least 10-15 years old and this is truly top grade professional quality. This is a New Old Stock Banjo that has just been sitting in a music store for years and is now available in stunning condition.

This has a curly maple neck and resonator and a rosewood fretboard. The fretboard has some very attractive inlay and the headstock veneer also has inlay work. The hardware is all gold and all original and this has some beautiful engraving work in the hardware. This banjo is absolutely beautiful and is all original and in great shape. This has a truly beautiful tone to it, curly maple and gold with rosewood is a classic combo. This also is a fantastic player with a new hardshell case.

Condition

This is New Old Stock and in stunning condition all the way around. The case is new.

Set Up

This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse. The head is the original Remo Renaissance Head and is set to 90. The bridge is set with correct intonation. The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the banjo is truly a phenomenal player. This is an extraordinary banjo, especially for the price. This would look incredible under a Christmas Tree as well.
