This is a new Recording King RKR30 5 string Banjo.  This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This has a maple resonator with a maple neck.  The shell is a 3 ply hard rock maple rim.  This has nickel hardware which is all original.  The fretboard has diamond inlay and white binding on each side.  The resonator also has white binding on each side.  This has a 2 piece flange which is pretty much all that differentiates this from an RKR35.  This has a rustic orange/brown satin finish.  This is an excellent example of a reproduction of the Pre War era tone that came from the brilliant mind of Greg Rich.

Condition and set up

This is brand new.  The banjo has a new Recording King frosted head and new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings.  The head is set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around.  This has correct intonation and the string height is correct as well.  This includes a new Guardian hardshell case.  This is a great opportunity to get a great price on a truly professional banjo!!!
