Description

The Recording King Banjos come from the mind of Greg Rich who once successfully redesigned the entire Gibson Banjo line. He is a legend amongst serious banjo players and builders and these banjos are his design. This is a powerful Bluegrass style flathead banjo and it is amazing these can be bought as low as they can, new.

This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell. The neck and resonator are both mahogany with a gloss finish. The fretboard is rosewood with a Seagull inlay pattern. This has nickel hardware including a one piece flange and a 20 hole Pre War style tone ring. This is not only gorgeous this is loud and has the classic banjo twang. The banjo is properly set up and is ready to go.

Condition

This is brand new and in new condition.

Set Up

This has been properly set up at the Banjo Warehouse. This has a new Remo frosted head which we set to 90 on a drum dial. The bridge is set with correct intonation and the action is set nicely. This is a phenomenal player as well.
