This is a gorgeous OME Sundance 5 string Banjo which is Made in USA.  This has been fully inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

OME makes some of the finest banjos made today and this is a great example of one of these banjos.  This has maple shell with a mahogany neck and resonator.  The hardware is nickel.  This has an ebony fretboard with some really attractive inlay.  The headstock also has inlay work including the OME logo.  The banjo is all original with a wooden armrest and an OME engraved tailpiece.  The tuners have beautiful buttons which really set the banjo off nicely and this is absolutely a professional quality banjo.  I think most people would try to get at least $2500 out of this.

This is a steal at under $2000 and this will give you a lot of tone, sound and some really good volume.  This is all original and also includes a TKL hardshell case.

Condition

This is in gorgeous condition.  It almost looks untouched.  The metal is glowing it is so bright.  All of the wood is also super clean and there isn’t much evidence of use at all.  The neck and fretboard are in really good shape.  The first few frets show a hint of wear but that does not effect the function and the rest of the frets are clean.  There are spikes at the 7th-10th frets.  On top of this the hardshell case is clean as well.  This banjo really looks fantastic.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.  This has a Remo frosted head which has been set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is a Scorpion Bridge and this has correct intonation.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set nicely.  This is also fully adjustable with the truss rod and dual coordinator rods.  This is a really good opportunity to get a top quality banjo for under $2000 that is clean, set up and ready to go.
