Description

Ronnie Bales is a builder that is located right here in the USA. He has produced very strong quality and top grade banjos right here in America. This is a fantastic example of one of these banjos made in the standard Mastertone Banjo design.

This has a standard Mastertone Style maple rim and a curly maple neck and resonator. The fretboard is ebony with some super cool inlay and the headstock has abalone inlay work as well. The hardware is nickel and includes a 20 hole mastertone style tone ring and one piece nickel flange. This banjo has a lot of pop and strong volume while being mellowed out with the Curly Maple neck and reso.

This also includes a very nice hardshell case that has Bales on the top of the case. This is a very clean and very nice package that is going to fit right in to somebody’s collection.

Condition and Set Up

This banjo is in absolutely fantastic shape and is set up well. I want to mention we did not clean this banjo because it was already in such great shape on the way in.

All of the finish on the neck and resonator are in fantastic shape. Very clean with a nice shine. There was once Cam D Tuners which have left a couple of marks in the finish on the headstock which are not bad. The frets are in near perfect condition and the fretboard is clean with spikes at frets 7,8,9 and 10. All of the hardware looks new. This banjo is clean all over. The case is also super clean but has a few scuffs which are not very bad. This is a very clean package that will deliver a top quality playing experience.

This has a Remo frosted head and an Aztec bridge with new Huber Truetone strings. This banjo is a top quality design that is in great shape and set up well to play great and sound fantastic. This banjo will please someone very much and if you want a strong value and a high end banjo this banjo is for you!!!!
