Description

This is an all original Gold Star JD Crowe Banjo with Original Case.

This has a maple shell with a mahogany neck and resonator. The fretboard is rosewood with leaves and bows. This has white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. The hardware is nickel and all original including a one piece flange and mastertone style tone ring. This banjo is a powerful banjo and for the price it will be very hard to find a better instrument. Includes Original Case.

Condition

The banjo is definitely in great shape and has been cleaned at our shop. The hardware has been taken apart and polished to a nice shine. The finish is in great shape and has been waxed to a shine also. The frets are in good shape with spikes and 7 and 9. This banjo is clean and has a clean original case.

Set Up

This has been set up with a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90. The bridge and strings are both new Huber. This is a powerful banjo that looks great, sounds great and is a thrill to play!
