Description

This is a Pre Owned Huber Banjo which was made in the last 3 years. This is a VRB75 Truetone which means this has the Premium Huber Truetone shell and Huber HR30 Tone Ring. This is all original and in fantastic shape, Made in USA and has been professionally cleaned and set up at our shop.

Steve Huber has done a wonderful job of recreating the sound and essence of the Pre War Gibson Banjos. This is a VRB75 which has a mahogany resonator and curly maple neck. The shell is a maple Huber Truetone Shell and the hardware is nickel and all original. The rosewood fretboard has a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern which looks fantastic. This also has white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.

This banjo sounds fantastic and really does capture so much of the Pre War Tone. This has great volume and I personally like when a mahogany resonator is matched with a nice curly maple neck because it delivers what I would call a balanced sound and tone. If you are looking for the best bluegrass banjo sound a Huber Banjo is one of your absolute best options. This also includes a Superior Hardshell Case.

Condition

This banjo is in fantastic shape, nearly unplayed, and has been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse. This has been disassembled and all of the hardware has been buffed to a shine. The finish looks great and has been waxed and shines also. The frets are in fantastic shape and there are spikes at frets 7,8,9 and 10. The banjo is gorgeous and the case is in great shape as well.

Set Up

This has been set up with a new Huber Frosted Head which is set to 90. The bridge is a Huber Bridge and the strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. This is a phenomenal banjo to begin with and has been professionally cleaned at our shop and looks, plays and sounds wonderful.
