This is a gorgeous nearly unplayed Recording King RKR35 with a Deluxe Archtop Original Case. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

The Recording King RKR35 is from the mind of Greg Rich and made in the style of the Pre War Gibson Banjo. This is a powerful banjo and this particular banjo has hardly been played.

This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell with a maple neck and resonator. The fretboard is roseweood with Seagulls. This has all original nickel hardware including an original one piece flange and original 20 hole full size tone ring. The finish is a Satin finish which looks great and is also clean.

This has a very nice upgraded Deluxe Case. This is an Archtop Original Recording King Case which is definitely a valuable upgrade. This particular banjo could be sold as new because it is in such great shape and it includes an expensive original case.

Condition

This is in absolutely gorgeous condition. The hardware is all glowing and the finish on the wood is gorgeous as well. The frets are nearly perfect with truly almost no sign of them even being touched. The fretboard is also super clean. There are spikes at the 7th and 9th frets. The Deluxe case is also super clean inside and out.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta. This has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90 on a drum dial. The bridge is set with correct intonation. The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the banjo plays great. This is definitely all original, super clean and set up to look, play and sound its best. The Deluxe Case takes it over the top!
