This is a Pre Owned Recording King RKR35 that is in fantastic condition.  This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This is a Greg Rich design that is meant to bring the Pre War tone to the player at the best price.  The banjo is maple with a 3 ply hard rock maple shell.  The neck is also maple with a rosewood fretboard.  The fretboard has a Seagull inlay pattern.  There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.  The hardware is nickel.  This has a one piece armrest and a Price Tailpiece.  The original Presto Style tailpiece is included in the case. The tuners are original nickel tuners. This is a fantastic banjo that produces a professional quality sound that can be bought at a great price.

Condition

This is in fantastic shape.  The banjo has been very well taken care of and is definitely clean.  All of the wood and finish is in great shape.  The hardware is also clean and really shines.  The fretboard is clean and the fretwear is also minimal.  There is a bit of fretwear on the first few frets but it’s not serious.  This is all around clean and has a clean hardshell case.

Set Up

This has been set up here at the shop.  This has nice string height which feels great to play and produces some great volume.  This has correct intonation.  The head is a new Huber frosted head and has been set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around the head.  The bridge is a Sullivan bridge with a rosewood cap.  The banjo looks great, sounds great and is professionally set up to play great.  If you want a pro quality banjo at a great price this is it.
