Description

This banjo was built by an unknown builder but it is clear to us that whoever built this was a strong builder that knew what they were doing. This has a strong design and is built with top quality parts and this is a machine that plays and sounds incredible.

This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell which is the correct width to maximize bluegrass banjo tone, or at least really pull some stellar tone out. The neck and resonator are each mahogany and this has a rosewood fretboard. There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.

The hardware is nickel and is all Gibson style hardware. This has a one piece Gibson style flange and a 20 hole Mastertone style tone ring. This banjo even has five star planetary tuners which is a nice touch for a Gibson Banjo copy. This banjo has so much of the authentic Gibson vibe and is set up and ready to go.

Condition and Set up

This banjo is very clean. We took the banjo apart and buffed the metal to a nice shine and also waxed the finish on the wood. The frets and fretboard are also in good shape with spikes at 7,9 and 10.
