The Recording King RM-993-VG puts the Swamp Dog Parlor’s punchy, portable voice into a distressed vintage green finish, with its own unique pattern of splotches and aged character on every body. It’s still built around the same custom 9.5″ hand-spun cone as the full-size Swamp Dog, in a smaller, lighter parlor body and a shorter 24-1/4″ scale that adds treble shimmer and top-end clarity without losing projection.
A mahogany neck with a vintage V profile, rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and a hard maple biscuit bridge with ebony and maple saddle make it comfortable and immediately playable, especially responsive to slide or fingerpicking.
