Robin Smith Heartland 5 string Banjo
This is a copy of an RB3 and has mahogany with a rosewood fretboard. This has a nice matte finish which really makes the banjo look exquisite and refined. The tone ring is a Dannick tone ring which really makes this banjo liven up!!! This is set up with spikes at the 7th – 10thfrets. The banjo is clean, this was definitely well taken care of with almost no signs of use. The frets are full and fat all the way down the fretboard which features a Custom block inlaid at the 21st fret.
Robin Smith is well known for making some of the best pre war conversion 5 string necks around. This banjo absolutely has that pre war sound and look. If you want a $5000 banjo sound for a fraction of the price this is it!!! Includes a Superior hardshell case.
