This is a travel banjo that was made by Gold Tone called a Tranjo.  I happen to be selling two of these right now.  This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This is a banjo that was made specifically for travel and is small, light weight and easy to take apart.

The banjo is made of maple with a rosewood fretboard.  The body can easily be taken apart and the neck can be screwed off.  The neck is an A scale which is shorter and easier to store.  The tuners are located inside of the body which preserves space.  This is a super cool design that not only is easy to transport it is not loud so it won’t wake up the neighbors in a hotel!!!!

Condition

This is in good shape but it is a travel banjo so it has some dings and scratches.  There is no serious wear.  Someone wrote the string number next to each tuner on the inside so it would be easy to know which tuner to turn for which string.  There is also a piece of velcro on the back of the body.  The neck and fretboard are both in good shape and this has almost no fretwear.  This is possibly the best travel banjo that has been made and it has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and is set up.
