Description

This is a high quality banjo at a bargain.

The resonator is maple and this has nickel hardware. The neck is also maple and this has a rosewood fretboard. The fretboard has a Flying Eagle inlay pattern. There is white binding on each side of the neck and w/b/w binding on each side of the resonator. This is all original with an engraved armrest and a Clam Shell tailpiece. The headstock also has some beautiful inlay work including the Washburn logo.

This would be the perfect banjo for someone that wants to sound good and really enjoy their playing but also doesn’t want to spend a lot of money. This includes a very nice TKL hardshell case also.

Condition

This is definitely clean and was well taken care of. The hardware looks basically new. The wood and finish is also super clean and has a nice shine to it. The neck and fretboard are clean and this has clean frets. There are spikes at frets 7 and 9. This is a gorgeous banjo in great shape and also has a clean hardshell case.

The only notable wear is on the inside of the pot. The outer layer of veneer on the shell has a slight split which is pictured. That effects nothing and if you never took the back off you would never know. But it is there and we do reveal everthing.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. This has a new Huber frosted head by Remo which has been set to 90 on a drum dial. The banjo has a Grover Bridge which is correctly intonated. This has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings which are set for comfortable playing and great tone and volume. This is an absolute bargain and is a beautiful quality banjo that is set up for maximum enjoyment.
