This is a gorgeous Washburn B17 that has Gold hardware and some really nice carving in the neck. This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

This banjo is absolutely gorgeous. This is a top of the line Washburn banjo with some super nice appointments.

This has a flamed maple resonator with Gold hardware. The armrest is engraved which looks great. This has a gold clam shell tailpiece. The banjo is all original. The tone ring is a gold plated 18 hole tone ring.

This has a flamed maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. The neck heel and the back of the headstock both are carved which looks exquisite. There is inlay work going down the fretboard and on the headstock. The headstock is really flashy, this banjo has a lot of bling. The truss rod cover is pearl with the B-17 model number.

This banjo is absolutely gorgeous and normally is $1500 new. This is definitely top of the line and professional quality. This also includes a Gold Tone hardshell case.

Condition

This is in really good shape. The wood and finish look incredible. The flamed maple looks great with how clean this is. The gold hardware does show some tarnish but it still looks really good. This has a very classy look. The neck and fretboard are both clean with overall clean frets. There is a hint of wear on the first few frets but not much at all. All of the hardware looks great. This is a really good looking banjo that at the price I am asking cannot be beat. The case is also clean but one of the latches is broken.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia. This has a new Huber frosted head which is set to 90 on a drum dial. The banjo has correct intonation. The action is set up and is also adjustable. This plays great and produces wonderful tone. The Gold and Maple combination also sounds fantastic. This banjo will make someone very happy, it looks great, sounds great and plays great.
