This is a Pre Owned Yates Ron Stewart 5 string Banjo. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This is a relicd Yates 5 string Banjo. Warren Yates relics all of his banjos to give them the old Banjo look. This is a mahogany banjo with a 3 ply hard rock maple shell. The hardware is nickel. This has a mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard. The fretboard has some really attractive in lay and white binding on each side of the neck. The resonator also has white binding on each side. This has a one piece armrest and a Presto Tailpiece. This has a Brass Tone Ring. The banjo is all original and looks really cool. The hardware is all aged to give it the classic look. This also includes an original Yates hardshell case.

Condition

This is relicd but the banjo came from the builder like that. The banjo itself is in fantastic shape regarding actual playwear. The frets do have a touch of wear on the first few frets but only on the first few. This is a really cool banjo with the classic vibe that was lightly used. The original case is in great condition.

Set Up

This has been set up here at the shop. This has nice string height and correct intonation. This has a frosted head that is set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around the head. The bridge is a Yates bridge and this has Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. This is a great looking, even better sounding banjo that really plays and feels great!!!
