This is a custom banjo made by Bob Zink to commemorate the fire engine “The Little Giant. This is all original and includes a hardshell case.

Description

This is a Brazilian Rosewood Custom Banjo made by Bob Zink. Bob Zink worked at Taylor Guitar for 30 years. This is all original with an ebony fretboard that has gorgeous fireman inlay. The neck and resonator both have white binding on each side. This has nickel hardware. The armrest is a one piece armrest and the tailpiece is a Presto Tailpiece. The banjo is a true work of art. This also includes a hardshell case.

Condition

The banjo is in really great shape. The finish and hardware are clean. This could not have been played much. The fretboard and neck are also clean. There is little fretwear and what is there is only on the first few frets. This is absolutely gorgeous. The case is not an original case (to my knowledge) but it is also really clean. There are spikes at the 7th and 10th frets.

Set Up

This has been set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. The head is a 5 star frosted head. This has a Snuffy Smith 5/8 bridge. The banjo has Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. The head has been set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around. The action feels great and the banjo has proper intonation. I can set up the banjo to any specification. CALL TODAY 404-372-5482.
