The Gold Tone BC-350 Bob Carlin model was the first signature openback banjo Gold Tone ever produced, born from a 2004 IBMA Fan Fest meeting between Bob Carlin and Gold Tone president Wayne Rogers. After several trips to the Gold Tone plant, Bob arrived at the exact specifications for this instrument.
Features include a 12-inch three-ply maple pot with an innovative dowel-stick/coordinator rod system, rolled brass tone ring, maple neck with scooped ebony fretboard, planetary tuners, No Knot tailpiece, and hot-dog armrest. All metal parts are nickel-plated for durability.
This is a left-handed model. Includes hardshell case.
Every instrument is professionally set up and inspected by our luthier before shipping.
