Available fretted or fretless, the 23 will have your acoustic amp or bass amp rumbling with big, fundamental bass tone. The sound of the M-Bass through an amp is uncannily like that of an upright string bass. You get big bass magic from an instrument the size of a “baby” guitar, shaped by the built-in piezo pickup’s EQ module (with tuner!). The M-Bass’s naytoh mini-dreadnaught cutaway body has an arched back and comfort-beveled top for playing comfort. Gold Tone’s specially developed Aquila high-tension polymer strings are easy on the fingers and really bring out that bottom end. Padded gig bag included.
This is an open-box model that was on display in our shop but it’s brand new and comes with a full warranty.

ABOUT:
Geoff Hohwald has been playing banjo since the 1960’s. He became active in the thriving bluegrass community in Ohio as a teenager while studying at Ohio State University. He has played professionally as a guitarist and banjo player with several bluegrass bands ever since. Geoff moved to Atlanta after college and co-founded the Watch and Learn publishing company. They now publish a full line of musical instrument instruction books and digital modules. He also owned several music stores in Atlanta from the 1980s through the mid-2000s and is still an active participant in the musical instrument re-sale community in the southeast.
Banjo Warehouse is a family business resulting from 50 years of experience in music and 40 years of experience in musical instrument retail sales and education. The Fender Leo was made in Japan when the Japanese perhaps made superior banjos to those made in the United States. This Leo was built to Gibson specifications and features a full-size tone ring and a 10-ply shell. It also has pot metal parts and high-quality keys. This particular Fender Leo belonged to an avid collector who had many banjos, so it was rarely played. It includes the original hardshell case.
